From a wide, flat base, the sides of this pan curve up and out, making it easy to flip or turn foods as they cook. Designed for quick cooking in a small amount of oil or butter, the fry pan is also great for browning and sauteing.
• The 8" size is ideal for one or two servings, or for small tasks such as sauteing chopped onion or mushrooms for another dish.
• The 10" size is perfect for three to four servings, to pan-fry up to three burgers, or to make a generous omelet for two.
• The 12" pan is well-suited for family-size portions of meats or side dishes such as stir-fried broccoli rabe or pan-fried potatoes.
• The 14" extra-large pan is ideal for pan-frying or searing good cuts of beef and has a helper handle; we especially like it for making steak au poivre. Also great for making a big batch of potato latkes.
